A.Dear Client,
It is mandatory to have a third-party insurance policy as per the Motor Vehicles Act, of 1988 which is a basic requirement to legally ply a vehicle on Indian roads. A major disadvantage to having third-party motor insurance is that you are not covered for any damage to your vehicle in an accident. This means that you will have to pay for any repairs to your vehicle out of your own pocket. A 3rd party insurance policy provides compensation for body injuries or death of a third party in a road accident having FIR and FRT of IO of Police Station(as per the court of law) and property damages for up to Rs. 7.5 lakh. So, your claim for compensation before the Insurance Company may be repudiated/rejected on the ground of eligibility and insurance coverage.

A.Dear Client,
Notify your insurance company about the incident. They can provide guidance on the claims process and whether any coverage might apply. Take clear photographs and videos of the damage to your car and the building that caused it. This documentation will be essential as evidence. Further, you may engage a lawyer to file a civil lawsuit to recover your losses if other options fail.
