A.Dear Client,
In India, the right to participate in strikes and protests is generally considered a fundamental right. However, this right is not absolute and can be restricted in certain circumstances. In general, employees, including those on probation, may have the right to participate in peaceful strikes or protests as a form of expressing their grievances or concerns. However, it's crucial to carefully review the employment contract, probationary terms, and any relevant company policies to determine whether there are any restrictions on participating in such activities.

A.Dear Client,
If the contract of employment as a probationer specifies such an act as misconduct and the service rules of the Bank if applicable to the employee under probation, that prohibit participation in an illegal strike called on by a registered trade union, the Bank can initiate disciplinary as well as legal action against you which may end with termination from service if the misconduct is proved in the domestic inquiry.
