DENIAL OF SERVICE EXTENSION POST PROMOTION DENIAL OF SERVICE EXTENSION POST PROMOTION

Is there a policy justifying the denial of service extension based on my promotion, specifically citing that promotion is not applicable to P2(P) primary hypertension, considering I am already on a two-year extension and scheduled to retire on 31st Jan 2024? I hold the rank of Subedar, serving as a JCO in the Indian Army.

A.Dear Client,
In general, extension of service may be subject to various factors, including health conditions. If there is a policy citing that promotions are not applicable to a specific medical condition like P2(P) primary hypertension, it could potentially impact service extensions. However, it's crucial to review the specific policies of the Indian Army and consult with the appropriate military personnel or legal advisors to fully understand the implications of your situation. If there are concerns about the denial and its justification, seeking clarification from the relevant authorities within the military structure may be the first step in addressing the issue.
Thankyou
