Now can I raise a case in court directly?
A.Dear Client,
To report a criminal incident, individuals typically file a complaint or First Information Report (FIR) at the local police station under whose jurisdiction the crime occurred. The police then conduct an investigation and submit the final report to the relevant trial court where the criminal case is pending.
Alternatively, for cases of fraud or cheating, individuals have the option to file a private complaint directly to a Magistrate's Court under Section 200 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This section outlines the procedure for a Magistrate to take cognizance of an offense. The process involves the complainant presenting a written complaint or information, and the Magistrate subsequently examining the complainant and any present witnesses under oath. The details of this examination are recorded in writing, signed by both the complainant and witnesses, as well as the Magistrate.

A.Dear Client,
Any criminal incident requires a complaint or FIR to be lodged in the local Police station under whose jurisdiction the crime is held/committed. for investigation and for reporting the final investigation report to the concerned trial Court where the criminal suit is pending. However, you can make a private complaint against fraud/cheating directly to a Court of Magistrate under Sec.200 of Cr. PC. that outlines the procedure for a Magistrate to take cognizance of an offence. The section begins with the requirement that any person who desires the Magistrate to take cognizance of an offence must present a written complaint or information. A magistrate taking cognizance of an offence on a complaint shall examine upon oath the complainant and witnesses present if any and the substance of such examination shall be reduced into writing and shall be signed by the complainant and witnesses and also by the magistrate. If required, you may take the service of an Advocate for guidance and steps
