A.Dear Client,

Review your appointment letter to understand the terms governing your relationship with the company. If it doesn't address the issue, legal action may be pursued for breach of employment contract terms. However, if the letter outlines conditions like salary tied to sales targets and you accepted them, you may be estopped from contesting this arrangement. If the appointment letter is silent, consider serving a legal notice, or seek redressal through the State Labour Commissioner's office or the Inspector under the Shops and Establishment Act for alleged unfair labor practices.

A.Dear Client,
In the given scenario, you have to go through the terms and conditions of your appointment letter that governs your relationship with the Company. If the appointment letter is silent on the subject, then the breach of conditions of the contract of employment, you may take legal action against your Company. Otherwise, if the contract of employment or appointment letter stipulates fixing a condition of payment of your salary based on sales target, then on acceptance of said condition of employment you are estopped from raising any protest on the issue against the company. However, in case the appointment letter is silent on the subject, then serving a legal notice to the Company, reach out to the office of the State Labour Commissioner concerned or the office of the Inspector under the Shops and Establishment Act for filing a complaint against the Company over alleged unfair labour practices for redressal of your grievance.
