Caste of me is S. dC. I have married to a boy of OBC. HE have expired when my son was 10 months old. So I am a single parent. I have not got any other certificate , documents and property from my in laws family. I have managed to collect a copy of death certificate from Municipality office. Can not I apply for caste certificate for my minor son in the caste of me for the school admission purpose ? If yes, then how?

A.Apply for the same by making an application with the relevant documents required. In the alternative you can also prepare an affidavit to that effect.

A.Hellow,
You can apply for the cast certificate by making an application with your husband's death certificate or you can make a affidavit on that also.

A.Hello,
You may apply for the caste certificate to the local collector's office by making an application and attaching the death certificate of his father as proof. You can also apply online, in cases of some States who have made available such facility.
Hope that helps!
