Dear Sir,

I availed personal loan from a bank recently and during the process I requested them to send all the loan related documents to my official address and not to my residential address. I sent emails in advance for the same and also spoke with the Sales Manager many times for the same. But even after my repeated request they sent all the files to my home due to which I suffered psychologically. It's not just me but my parents too. My parents who are not physically sound fell into depression because of seeing the loan documents. Even I am so stressed which is affecting my work too. When I approached the bank for a solution they said they did not update the communication address. This simple mistake has taken a toll on my regular life. Need your suggestion on how to handle this legally.

A.Send the bank a legal notice for the same and thereafter file a case in the consumer forum.

A.Dear Sir,
You may get issue a legal notice and also lodge a complaint with Banking Ombudsman.

Sir, when you say I can get limited legal remedy what does it mean? There is no proper regulations for these or is it something they think is negligible?

Remedy is there but only if u desire to utilize and it is up to u to what extent u do it

It depends what gravity u assume to their negligence or deficiency in service. U r free to take it forward legally if u so desire
