If i elope with a minor girl of 16, remain hide for 2 years, and then when she turns 18, we marry and approach the court, what will be the result? I am govt teacher under probation of 1 year, and i assume that her father will file kidnap case.

A.As you are Govt teacher your assumptions are pretty right. Do something better to save job and desist from doing such things and think some good alternative in pursuance of your aim.

A.He can file case in Kidnap of Minor and on The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Both have severe punishments and hiding more than 10 Days also another punishment. Might be you end up your life in Jail and problem to her also.

A.Ultimately you will be liable to face the music as the crime would be registered as soon as you are eloped and found or suspected in that event. Law doesn't take into account ifs and buts in serious cases
