My wife applied for my minor son's passport by publishing false information about me. In Annexure 'C', she mentioned that I am out of India and cannot be available at the time of passport application. She also forged my signature on Annexure 'D'.
How serious is this offence? Whom should I report it to if needed?
A.Yes you can take a action, Pls send a letter to Passort officee , along witth your child Passort.

It is a series offence carrying punishment upto seven years. You may lodge complaint with passport authorities and also with police. If no action is taken then file private complaint before Magistrate.
