I have rented a room in 3 BHK house. Broker Is caretaker of this house I have give him brokerage 8000 and deposit 20000 to owner account, owners don't interven in house matter, they say fotalk to him in every matter, this broker cut deposit amount even if there is no damage to property and refuse to return full deposit, n mentally harras because we remove the maid which was his wife.what action can I take.

A.Dear Sir,
It is a small thing and approach the police first if not solved file a defamation case for Rs.5L and the broker will come to understand.

A.You are entitled to your deposit. You can make complaint of care taker to owner.

A.A landlord can appoint anyone for the purposes of collecting rent etc on his behalf.
You can move against them in the consumer grievance cell through a lawyer or all by yourself.

A.Hello Client,
Firstly, try to have a conversation regarding all the problem, if need held a meeting in the presence of club members or any authorities you think could help. Failing which, you may lodge a complaint against him in your local police station. carry all the documents related to payments and contracts as proof.

A.Hi client,
The owner cannot refrain from his duties. He is your landlord, so every matter should be dealt by him. The caretaker/broker can play the role of taking care of your needs as a tenant and the premises needs. So, talk to the owner/landlord about the matter.He is supposed to deal with all the monetary transactions .If nothing works lodge an F.I.R. against the broker.

A.File a complaint.
Issue letters to broker and Land owner about the problem.
Thereafter issue legal notice.
