Help of the Police is not required at this stage. First get marry in marriage registrar office and then approach the Police with Marriage Certificate if parents of yours object for such marriage provided you have attend the age of marriage.

The law says that a child is entitled for a certificate of caste depending upon the how and by which parent the child was reared up. If you have been reared up as a SC candidate then you will be entitled for such certificate otherwise you are entitled for ST certificate.
