I have upto 20lacs debt in all 7 banks and have stopped paying from last 6months due to financial crisis. Now my salary is the only source of income to my family and I can pay maximum 20k monthly EMI.

A. As far as I know Bank managers have no freedom to make any relaxation for you.

What is the legal way to document a loan being given to a relative? What terms can be covered like rate of interest, principal etc..in it?

A. For a relative loan Do make a promissory note & PDC- POST DATED CHEQUE & it should be executed in very strict manner.

A. 1) As you was the regular payer of Bank loan/ credit card there is nothing much to worry as the covid-19 situation is NOT been deliberately bought by you, but it is due to the situations beyond your control.. & a national Disasters .
2) Using of any abusive language with your wife/ family members is very much illegal as the card is not in her name request you to record all the calls immediately along with the Caller name, time and date and save it into a pen drive forward it to us
