Took money from friend

I took money from a friend few years back. Then a lot happened with me afterwards. I am still struggling in many ways. I just came out from an abusive marriage. I am looking for jobs too. He knows all that. But one day he misbehaved with me and I scolded him. Since then he is mentally harassing me. Even threatening me that he will report against me. It was 20k. He is earning well though. And I have no job. What can I do in this case?
A.He cannot take any legal action against u. So do not worry..However, you can request your friend for extension of time as he is ur friend.

Legally, a legal action can be taken in case of non re-payment of loan. However, you can request your friend for extension of time period.

He can take legal actions against you, in case of non re-payment of loan amount.
Thereby, you can request your friend to either grant you extension or EMI system to pay the loan.
