NBFC has filed 3 different case for a Single loan taken by me. They have filed these case in Gurugram court and there are theree different case foe a single loan. How can i defend this.

The fees depends on the cheque amount against which the complaint is being filed in the court. It It will also vary from case to case and from lawyer to lawyer.

A. Hi,
If the cheque issuer fails to make a fresh payment within 30 days of receiving the notice, the payee has the right to file a criminal complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. However, the complaint should be registered in a magistrate's court within a month of the expiry of the notice period.

A. Hi,
If the cheque was valid for only 3 months, it would be invalid if you instituted a cheque bounce case now. However, you may still initiate a civil money recovery suit against them.

A. Hi,
You may send a legal notice to your friend since he provided you the invalid cheque, also you need have the bank's letter for the confirmation that such cheque is not valid.

A. Hi,
You can file an application to the court for non-execution of the court order. Then the court will issue directions to arrest and retrieve your money.

What IS 1+1 Year of Punishment In sec 138 Ni act..
My brother has got 1+1 year of sentence as he loses his two cases on same day...so he got 1+1 years or sentence and some fine.. so is it two years of jail or It will Be done parallels to each other..

yes, it is 2 years of jail and not parallel to each other.
also, it is undeniable fact that the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act punishment prescribed is two years.
