My brother has got 1+1 year of sentence as he loses his two cases on same day...so he got 1+1 years or sentence and some fine.. so is it two years of jail or It will Be done parallels to each other..

A.Hi,
yes, it is 2 years of jail and not parallel to each other.
also, it is undeniable fact that the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act punishment prescribed is two years.

A.Hi,
the punishment is of 2 years imprisonment.
Section 138 provides that when the cheque is dishonored for insufficiency of funds or for any of the prescribed reasons, the one who is at defaulter can be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to twice the amount of the cheque, or both.

A.if two cases on same day then they are in same court.
they will run parallel.
