Recently completed 1 year in marriage. Sikh by religion, living in DelhiNCR. Starting from the 2nd week of marriage, my wife started torturing by asking for divorce. This continued for several months. I have every proofs about this mental harassment on messages. Also started threatening for suicides. Have audio recording proof of her admiting to threaten by suiciding. She and her father also threatened me directly to file fake dowry case during an argument. I again have proof in audio recording and message when later she admitted that she will file fake dowry case and that her father told to do so. She also asked me to get separated from parents and is asking to choose either one. I again have messages regarding this as proof. Now, I want to really get divorce and I want to ask here if I can use these evidences and do a complaint first in police station stating that my wife is mentally harassing me, doing suicide attempts and threatening me to file fake dowry case. Will these help me getting a divorce from her easily without getting into any trouble?

Dear Sir/Madam, My wife and I quarrelled on salary issue. I asked her salary for our home need expenditures, after repayment of her loans, LIC Policy (Tax related policies)...etc. and her own expenditures. Initially, she accepted to give her rest of the salary. But one day, she refused to give the rest of the amount. She told that” By giving this money, she will lose her freedom and need to beg money each time”. I remaindered her that, I already informed to your father regarding salarybefore marriage. He did not speak anything till marriage. My wife discussed with her father regarding salary. Her father told her that, “Come to our home and stay with us.” After completion of two days, I rang my wife. I asked her to come home. Till now, she did not come to our home. The completed days are 50days. Points on Mutual discussions: My parents and her parents both were discussed for gathering us. 1. My wife father told that, “She does not give her salary to him. Her husband only has to bear all the expenditures future from new born child to till marriage. We are depending on her salary due to our old age. We cannot do any work and not have enough money. She has to marry her sister also. So, she does not give money to him. If still, do you need money means, she will give at least Rs 5000/month only irrespective of her salary hike. My Observations: I observed that, her parents trained her to not give money and my wife spelled as per the training. They want to back up her and the money ( like ATM Machine). She is a working woman and her salary will increase yearly. They want to increase their wealth, by doing cheating like this at me. Their parents trained her brain negatively on me and her heart was filled with poison type of principle words. They want to supress me under their legs. If I do not obey her or their wishes at present or in future means, she will run to her parents’ house. Again, I have to accept their demands and bring to my home. Till now, we do not have children. I observed from my wife that, after she becoming pregnant. She is planning to stay her parents with us, till their death. New born child expenses also bear by me. Later, with the new born child, she will stay with that child till her death by taking share in my assets through divorce, if I am not favour to her at any time. If she came to our home also, I cannot find any sign of trust relation from her. Based on the above mutual discussions and observations, I did not accepted their demands. We both married in Christian type of marriage ( 2 pastors and received marriage certificate) . We completed 9 months of our marriage life. I did not take any Dowry, Gold (either ring or chain), Assets from her. I married her at Free of cost. They only did marriage at a cost of Rs 1Lakh. I am working in IT Company and her working in Bank. If we file for divorce means, how much penalty we have to pay either in Money /Asset. My parents gifted a house on my name. I and my parents were confused.
