A. From the facts posted herein it seems that you are in possession of the property in question, be that as it may, do not take any overt steps so as to jeopardize your claim of adverse possession of property concerned, in case settlement is reached with wife of the owner than that's the best option, just keep quite and play safe, thanks

A. Dear Sir,
It is your self acquired property and not ancestral property as such consent of your children is not required. You can self the same or gift the same to any person you wish.

A. The property in your hand is an ancestral property and all of your sons, daughters have equal share in the same property. Although, ancestral property can be transferred by executing a will, but the same can be a subject to challenge before court.

A. Law with respect to settlement deed is altogether different from laws of will. They operate differently in different situations. History of property and title documents in hands plays pivotal role in deciding the preposition in hand. Thanks
