It is your self acquired property and not ancestral property as such consent of your children is not required. You can self the same or gift the same to any person you wish.

A.If the property in the hands of your father is self acquired property and in case he has gifted it in your favour then there is no reason to get worried, you have sole and absolute and exclusive right over the property, your children can't object to anything.
Thanks

A.Hi,
Since the property was gifted to you by your father, therefore, the property would be considered as self acquired property under the law. Therefore, your children cannot claim share or right in your self acquired property. Hence, you are free to sell the property.

A.Hi,
A property is not considered as an ancestral property if it was gifted by a father to his son. Therefore, an individual cannot claim his share in a property which was gifted to his father by his grandfather. The property which a son or a daughter receives as a gift from the father becomes their self-acquired property. So, you're free to deal with the property in any manner. Your children cannot object to sale of the property and claim right on the property.

A.Until and unless a property remained unpartitioned for last four generations, that property cannot be called ancestral property so this property being your self acquired property, you can sell it to any person of your choice in registered manner and your children cannot have the legal right to give objection.
