Can PAN Card be used as identity for khatha change? Is it legally valid?

A.Hi,
PAN card is valid ID proof, not address proof.
Kindly contact the department and ask for a checklist to submit for the Khata change.

A.Though PAN card is a legally valid proof of identity but still you will have to see the requirements of that particular department. PAN card is an identity proof but it is not an address proof.
