Road Accident
My father got a serious injury in a road accident by some animal and while treatment he passed away. He was the owner of the car, while the car was driven by a driver. He was a government employee. So can we apply for claims from both government as well as car insurance company?

A.Yes, Surely you can apply for both.
But mainly for claiming the compensation under MV Act in court, you have to verify the policy details of the car particularly.
1. Please verify whether the policy if Comprehensive/package policy or Third party policy.
If your car policy was Comprehensive/package policy you will compensation from the court against insurance company.

A.Hi,
You need to have a proper legal consultation.
The death benefit depends on many aspects, from the insurance perspective, the claim is protected but the benefit from the government is required to evaluate like duration of service etc etc.
