Police Protection for marriage
I have marriage in family in my village that falls under Amethi, U.P. I would like to have some sort of protection against a group of people who have been threatening and constantly harrasing us with motive of not allowing us to stay there. They do that because they are my uncle's family and want all the inherited land after my late grandfather. Is there any law i can rely on? Kindly give most practical advise considering the fact that one of the enemies is homeguard in the concerned police station and hence has an influence there which has caused no action against them previously inspite of several instances of small and severe violence.
