Utilisation of terrace in an Apartment Utilisation of terrace in an Apartment

Our Apartment society is not registered. I want to install solar water heater on terrace.. Now most of the owners are objecting saying thay cannot share common area for individual installation. Our terrace is not used for any purpose from last 25 years. Can Association deny the installation. Is there any judgement on similar case? Since it in mandatory to install solar water heater can they object? Can we seek help from any authorities or department to help us in this regard?

A.Those on the fifth and seventh floor are pocket terraces and as is the general practice in the city, the developer gives the respective flat owners the right to use them.” “All terraces with common entrance irrespective of which floor it belongs to, can be used by all members of the society

A.A solar water heater can be installed by the Apartment society for the COMMON use of all members in the society as the society terrace comes under common areas of the society & so a individual CANNOT install the solar water heater of the benefit of self. Rather guide every body for a common purpose & take contribution from all society members & so your purpose is also solved.
