If a innocent person gets punishment from high court and he wants to appeal against the judgement to supreme court how much time will it take to get case in front of judges of supreme court

A.There is no prescribed period. It depends upon so many factors. Some cases of similar nature pending for more than 10 years, you may be surprised. Justice is very costlier tool.

A.60 days
APPEALS TO THE SUPREME COURT IN CIVIL MATTERS
Upon such cases, the High Court grants the certificate to make appeals to the Supreme Court. The appeal can only be made within 60 days from the grant of certificate of the High Court.

A.Working with Supreme Court advocates. Can get the appeal listed urgently.

Will have to draft the appeal after reading the case and engage advocate specially for supreme court. I work with Criminal side lawyers who practice in the Supreme Court. We got appeal listed urgently just this week and also argued.
