Sir i am currently pursuing my b.tech i'm in last year ,my name hasn't any surname or any second name i
came to know that i will face issues if i will not have a second name so i made affidavit for name change and also published it in national newspaper now i'm planning to publish it in gazette of India but i heard from a friend that after name change i will not be applicable for Defence(Indian army,air force,navy) jobs is it true??

A.Name change legally does not bar you from joining Defense.
