One of my neightbour's family member a boy in his 20s, is arrested on charges of stealing a bike and put in Tihar Jail? First the family did not know which police station was he taken to, and police did not tell them. The lawyer whom they contacted is also not reponding. Any suggestion, what to do next, since he's the only son?

A.There will be an FIR registered. Family also has to be told of the reasons for arrest at the time of signing arrest memo. If the approximate area of arrest is known then a fact finding on that end is to be conducted through all police stations in that area.

Thereafter, bail can be applied.

A.Yes, We can help to locate the police station, but which is the State & City/ Village etc. Do let us know... & for stealing a bike is NOT a very big crime .. So relax, but remember it is your right know where your son is in which police station & what type of case.
