My great grandmother had made a affidavit on my dad's name n my dad already have 2 sis n 1 brother they have been troubling us for the share so does the affidavit have a value which is made in 1988 and there is a type of photo pass also which is just like a transfer paper on my dad's name but not yet transferred so plz do help me in this

yes that affidavit has a value, you can contest and claim on that basis

A.The affidavit can be treated as will if she was no more. But it was unregistered one so u need to probate it to get the property.

A.Unless it is WILL Deed, it is not valid. In order to make it valid proper stamp duty has to be paid and registration has to be done nomenclatured as Gift or Release or Relinquish or Settlement Deed.
