Non transfer of bike ownership by buyer Non transfer of bike ownership by buyer

I had sold my bike in 2015 to a person and till now he has not done the ownership transfer. After sale, I had send delivery note, form 29, form TCR and buyer details to RTO. As per sub section 1 of section 50 of MVA, RTO is supposed to do the ownership transfer after receiving the documents? Can i take any legal action here against the buyer or RTO? . I am concerned as my name is still there in the RC

A.1. first of all, take note of the facts that as per a latest ruling registered owner of a vehicle is liable for any act/damages caused by the vehicle,
2. serve the buyer with a legal notice to transfer the vehicle in his/her name immediately,
3. if failed, you can file a case regarding the matter,
