I hired a wedding photographer for my wedding. Initially his behavior was nice but later on his attitude changed and his money 1st approach came forward. We gave him 80% of the amount in advance before the wedding as per our agreed terms (we have his confirmation on e-mail for that). Now all of sudden he starts demanding to give more advance else he won't give a wedding video and album.
His behavior during the wedding was also not upto the mark, we have to call him every time any function start. Moreover, i came to know from wife that he shouted on her for not telling him to come and take pictures. 
As of now we don't have his address, because he mentioned different address at different portal like facebook, instagram.  We have his email confirmation of terms of payment.
He has already done similar acts with other couples also which we came to know after giving advance. (we have some mails by past clients).

He straightaway deny any modification or requirement we raise as customer, for eg. sharing soft copy of album before printing so that we can decide which photo looks good and which does not. As per him album is ready and he will give it only when we give half of balance money. How can we give money without even seeing the album.
In same mail mentions that "I do not want to give you any trouble and end this is peaceful way".

Also me and my wife are living in other state right now and photographer belong to other state where wedding happened.

I want to know what are prospect if we file consumer complaint against him (for fraud, mental harassment and threat ) or what other option we have so that he gets punished and don't cheat others.

A.1. you can serve him a legal notice through a lawyer to immediately share the photo album & video so that required instructions can be given,
2. if the needful is not done despite service of the legal notice, you can file a consumer complaint against him,
3. chat, call records, WhatsApp record, agreement, if relevant, can prove your case and are admissible as an evidence
4. the case will be filed from your state,
you can claim an appropriate amount as compensation on account of mental pain, agony,

A.Dear client
send him notice claiming damage and compensation as wel as after notice period over file consumer complaint .
Simultaneously lodge complaint before police to take action immediately as your personal /private data is with him where he is no more credible and misuse may happen.

A.Hi, complain to the police with photocopies of all details you have and also send cc to higher authority of police like c.p., dcp etc.Police will trace him with the help of his cyber team.
