Legal Rights
My grandfather has initially framed a final will, sharing his properties in which he clearly mentioned that my aunty doesn’t have a share and all the formalities are done during wedding. Later forcibly without any knowledge he left a second will on my grand mothers name. Now after my grandmother passed away, my aunts daughters are fighting with our family stating as daughter only they have all the rights on the properties. Is it right? As sons children do we not inherit any rights?
A.Hi,
If the property is ancestral then all the children have an equal right. Also, it depends on the state you are located as to know what customs are practiced there.
