Tenancy agreement expired ,but my tenant did not pay the last electric bill as it is huge bill,as the meter is in my name, what to do? If i want to give the my same space to a new tenant, what clause should I make regarding electric bill?

A.Hi,
the rent/tenant agreement should contain a clause stating that rent and electricity expenses should be sorted before the fixed due date. It might also state that security amount will not refunded, if dues are not cleared.

A.Hi,
the agreement should have a clause stating the electricity rent be paid before the due date. Else penalty will be imposed.
