I am the landlord,I stay at 2nd floor,my tenant is in ground floor shoproom,the entire premises is on the main road.Due to litigation at court regarding ejectment suit filed against tenant and the case is still existing in the court of law under argument stage.My question is as the entire premises is becoming old,I cannot repair it due to the case bcoz my tenant will file me a wrong case regarding that I am disturbing his business.Is there any solution to repair or I have to maintain status quo?

A.Dear Client,
When there is an ongoing eviction suit before the Court, you should maintain the status quo and wait till the matter is resolved. If you want to undertake any repairing activities, it is advisable to obtain permission of the court, before you proceed with the work, to avoid any legal complications.

A.Dear Client,
When an eviction suit is sub-judice before a Court, you have to maintain the status quo or obtain permission to carry out renovation/repairing work in the suit property from the concerned Court where the case is pending, otherwise, you may face legal consequences.
