I am 22-year-old female and have a decent job in an MNC (India). I have a boyfriend for 3 years, but parents are very narrow-minded and are very abusive(physically and emotionally) but they are threatening to call the police if i move out of the house. What should I do?

A.fly in the world.
you can move out of the house for abuse and live life you want.
you might not do that because of parents properties so they know your weakness.

Hope this clarifies,

A.Hello. Since you're an adult, no one can restrain you from any movement and also there must be a ground for calling police. Try mediating with your parents about the whole issue.

A.Hi,
In legal context, if you live in your parents house after you turn 18, then you are subject to their rules, within reason.
However, you may register NC complaint of mental harassment against your parents at your nearest police station. Initially, Police will call your parents at police station and they may give warning to your parents.

A.Hi,
No one can restrict your right of movement without sufficient justiciable reasons.
