Car Insurance claim rejected

I Purchased a car on 5th Oct from Individual, Payment was done on 6th Oct. I initiated the RC change on 7/8th Oct. However before i could initiate the change of name in insurance, i met with car accident on 20th Oct. Now insurance company is refusing to settle claim stating mismatch in RC records and no request for change in name with the insurance co. Request you to please advice if anything can be done to get claim approved from insurance company.

Dear Sir,
It depends upon so many factors and insurance must stand in your name to claim the amount otherwise claim the same through the previous owner which they cannot deny.

You should provide all the evidences and documents of the sale and the RC change to the insurance company so that they can know the transaction. And if the company refuses to pass the claim you may initiate the proceedings in the court

It is important to tell the insurance company and suffice them with all the evidences and documents of the sale and the RC change, so claim could be provided, and even if the claim is not granted you may approach the court
