Company did not paying my salary for three months (Oct 2017 to Dec 2017) Company did not paying my salary for three months (Oct 2017 to Dec 2017)

Hello,

I was employed as a front-end developer in one company in Bangalore from 13-March-2017 to 31-December-2017 and I have received salary till Sep 2017. Salary for Oct 2017 to Dec 2017 was differed and i was informed by CEO that due to financial constraints salary will be deferred by few days. In good faith, i continued working for company and delivered the work then i left at Dec 31 2017.

For salary sake i kept the company laptop with me but now he is saying like "if i did not return the laptop he ll report to the police station as stolen property".

Can any one suggest me what should i do (not only me there are three more colleagues are having same problem ).

Thanks,

A.1. The company can not file complaint against you for theft of laptop. Because, you are holding the laptop for the settlement.

2. I suggest you to hand over the laptop.

3. Issue legal notice to company to settle the dues in stipulated time.

4. Even after issuing legal, if no settlement then approach court to file recovery suit against company.

5. You can book consultation to discuss with me further.
