Non Payment of Salary during Unlock Period Non Payment of Salary during Unlock Period

I am a Central Govt. Employee under Ministry of HRD. As per Govt. order all educational institution should be close upto 31st July,2020 due to lockdown and all employees are advice to work from home. If the office is opened then only 50% staff should attend with a roster of duty. But my authority over ruled the order and remain open office in lockdown and unlock 1-2 with 100% attendance. As I am reside far from office and no public transpiration was available during lockdown, I was not able to attend office. Due to this my May, June and July salary withheld by the authority. I have prayer twice to release the salary in written but my employer is not giving any reply to my applications.

What should I do next?

A.many private job employees are suffering but they are going to work.
so you need kings treatment because you got govt job.
did you asked for work from home option ?
i remember there was a order from govt during lockdown that if any employee refuse to work from home then salary not to be paid.
no public transport and far from office are not valid reasons.
if genuine then you can file a complaint with the higher officials.

Hope this clarifies,

A.Hi,
You may file a complaint with the higher officials and ask to clear your dues for the work done. Also, was there no provision provided by the employer to work from home. And were there any measures taken from your end to contact the employer during the above mentioned periods.

A.Hi,
It is advisable that you file a complaint regarding non- following of government order by your employer to its higher officials and also bring the concern that your salary has been withheld. Also, was there any work assigned to be done by you from home or was there any provision for work from home.
