My parents are senior citizens. I am a government employee. My cousin and his wife daily abuse my parents at night after being intoxicated. Last time they even beat my mother. When I lodged an FIR against them, they also lodged a counter FIR under ipc 376 511. As a result I am compelled to withdraw my case. This happens repeatedly. Please advice me to teach them a good lesson.

A.Hi,
You can file case under IPC 209 for false claim. Further, you can charge them for mental harassment, ask for compensation, and also under Maintenance and Welfare of Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

A.Jsut hiered an advocate and he will help you...file a written complaint to sho .acp .dcp and senior citizen commision on behalf of your old parents and mention all minor details .....

if not then trespass can not attract 376.
if not then if they file 376 and you took back your FIR then you have to manage the evidence.
you have to record the acts so 376 can not be filed again.
misuse of 376 will become problem for them.
