paying money as registration fee for data entry job

Hi !! A person whatsapp me about a data entry job and requested me to pay Rs.2100/- as a deposit money. I already transferred that. Now he is again asking Rs. 1500/- for my work verification and enquiry report. He is saying most of this money will be refundable. He has not yet sent me any project or contract agreement. Can this be a case of fraud? Also, can he do any harm to me?

This data entry job is a fraudulent scam which has seen a sudden surge in the recent times. They will keep asking money and never refund it. It is suggested to file a complaint in the consumer forum.
