Sir my brother addicted to alcohol n my entire family is suffering by his torture....he harrases his wife n we are worried about his child ....my brother abuses evryone whoevr tries to control him ...mainly he tortures his wife and child...we complained about him in our near by ps but could not find a sulution....sir pleas advice us how to control him as per law .....his wife our sister in law sufferng a lot..

A.Before approaching for a legal action take alternative counseling & advisory by your designated CP they will also have dept. for Women & Child welfare , better to consult a Lawyer from Vidhikarya panel quickly.

A.1. As police have not taken any action against him, I suggest you to approach a lawyer to take up your complaint to court. Court would pass orders to police to file a FIR against him.

A.Send him a legal notice first and see how he react. If he still doesn't amend his way you can always take necessary legal action against him.
