Hello
I would like to know that, can my father & two sister will sale some part of agri. land (ancestral property after partition) without our (brothers) consent. When they sold this land my father was alive. Now he is no more. Please tell me either this transaction is legal or illegal. If illegal then how I will get my share of the same.

A.Father has right to sell. You and your sisters does not acquire any independent right. So depending upon circumstances and other facts, father can sell property without your or any of his child consent.

A.Hi,
The sale would be valid if your father was alive at the time of making it. You can claim a share of the property by filing a suit for partition.
