Money not returned by wife which was taken for her maternal uncles work

Husband through internet banking transferred money to wife' account as she asked for same for her maternal uncle's personal work in April 2019. Now, husband has filed divorce petition in July 2020 because of family disputes .
How to recover this money and from wife or from her maternal uncle ?
Should husband lodge complaint at police station for getting this money for economic fraud by wife or by her maternal uncle ?
A.If you have any evidence regarding you giving money to your wife's maternal uncle, then you can proceed directly or else you have to ask your wife only....

A.As per your submission, that transaction details you have to keep and you deduct said amount from maintenance or alimony by producing that details.
