My RWA in Coimbatore Tamilnadu has not submitted the Income and Expenditure monthly statements for the past 3 years. They simply present the statement of Accounts at the end of the year, pass them with the limited strength attending the AGM; They refuse to present the Cash Registers and Cheque Cancelled Details for inspection; When I tried to raise this in the recent AGM -21 Feb 2021 -, I was harassed and humiliated and not allowed to speak on this;
I want to know where can i lodge a complaint / any means through which i can receive the monthly statements from JULY' 2018 till date; Most of the members either don't attend AGMs or simply play along with the office bearers; How can i ascertain that the maintenance i am paying is properly utilized without any misappropriation?
As a member, you have a right to receive and inspect these documents. Serve them with legal notice to produce copies of the same.
If they do not comply, you can file a complaint against them for cheating and fraud under Sections 415 and 420 IPC.

Serve them with legal notice to grant you copies of the same.
If they refuse, Court action can be taken and they will be ordered to produce the documents. You can also file a case against them for cheating and fraud under Sections 415 and 420 IPC.
