I met with an accident on 8th Jan 2021. I started the insurance claim formality immediately and car workshop vendor took my car on same day. Insurance company (edelweiss) took 24 days to provide go ahead to vendor(Go Mechanic) and now vendor has also taken 30 days. I still have not got my car back. I put a complaint in edelweiss but grievance dept is also taking not so responsive. I put an escalation to GoMechanic (Garage vendor) and they are also very slow. I doubt what they have been doing with my car since 8th Jan. What and how can i take legal actions against the insurance company.

Serve them with legal notice to do their duty. If you wish to resolve the matter extra-judicially, you can approach the Insurance Ombudsman.
If you are seeking monetary compensation, you can file a suit in consumer Court.

You can file a suit claiming damages in consumer Court. Alternatively, you can approach the Insurance Ombudsman.
