Domestic Violence case against me, my father, mother & brother Domestic Violence case against me, my father, mother & brother

Sir/Madam

I got married in april 2014, stayed together for 2 months only, she left, then on she lived with their parents. In Aug 2016 they filed for Domestic violence case against 1st me, 2nd my father, 3rd mother & 4th brother. Still case going on, no progress, my father expired. Background is there is no evidence of harming as we have done nothing, due to ego issues & rowdisim from my wifes brother got divorced, so practically no phyisical or mental harrasment towards my wife by any of my family. My question is if I go missing, what issues my brother might face? to what extent my brother would be considered for punishments if any?

Thanks
Kiran

A.It depends on the status of your case. If you have already made your presence your wife will adopt all due procedures to get the exparte proceedings against you. Better to fight the case and try to put your efforts to fight the case in a proper way. Leaving the things in between will never help you.

A.Hi,
It is advisable for you to file a case of cruelty and mental harassment against your wife and her family.
You can seek protection from the court by gaining an order for their family to stay away from you and your family.
