Bonus and paid leave encashment in case of termination Bonus and paid leave encashment in case of termination

My company sent me a termination notice 20 days before completion of 1 year. My CTC had a 10% retention bonus which was to be paid out if I completed a year in the organization. Now the company is refusing to pay me the retention bonus and paid leave encashment, since I am serving the notice period. Is it legal? And what are my options?

Date of joining: 16th Mar 2020
Date of termination notice: 23rd Feb, 2021
Last working day: 9th April, 2021

A.As per the information provided by you, the company has mentioned the details of bonus/exgratia in your CTC which was supposed to pay after completion of one year. If it is a part of your ctc they have to pay the amount on a pro-rata basis.
