Recently i resigned from my post and denied to serve notice period of 30days.
I updated to HR that allow me to serve 30 days notice period from home. I’m not able to come office due to no transportation and doctor advised me to work from home only. I had also mention when i resigned that due to no transportation availability i will not come office please allow me to work from as 30days of notice period.

now they gave me legal notice to pay 1 month salary with interest or serve 30days notice period and i have 15 days to pay other wise they will take the action.

so what can i do??
i have medical records that i have stone in stomach and having pain and doctor advised to work from home and due to covid 19 no transportation availability

A.Hi,
you can show the medical certificate issued by the doctor, if any further action is taken against you.

A.Hi,
In your defense, you can show the medical certificate to the company and if the legal action continues, then in the court. A medical Certificate would prove your innocence and the company would no longer be able to force you to serve in those 30 days.
