I wanted to know if there is any exemption for the senior citizens to not to appear to court on monthly basis like we have in DVC.

A.no exception specially for senior citizens.
in most of cases, parents names are dropped by police in chargesheet.

A.Hi,
Exemptions have been given for the accused under CrPC, that if the court feels that the accused shouldn't attend the proceedings, summons can be issued for the same.

A.Hi,
The court might give the orders and can ask the accused to not attend the proceedings in the court by issuing the summons u/s 205 and 317 of the Criminal Procedure Code. But specifically, nothing has been mentioned for the senior citizens.

A.If u are an accused then there is a provision in CRPC under sections 205 and 317 for personal exmption.
