Purchasing of stolen item from minor

I am purchased some stolen item from minor after that I returned that's item to owner. But now owner is blackmailing me minor give some other item but actually I not received any other item from minor and he is saying if I am not returned other item he raised fir against me

It seems like the person is trying to extort money from a false pretext. You can register a complaint with the police for the offence of extortion/blackmail u/S 383 IPC.

A.Hi,
As a good samaritan, you returned the stolen good and your duty ends there. Further, if you feel that you are being blackmailed then lodge a police complaint u/S 383 of IPC.

A.ask him to register FIR.
if he doesnt file then you file FIR for blackmailing.

A.Hello if they given the items from the minor they can't give fir because that's stolen items so don't worry you can take action against him thank you

A.I don't think he can do anything to you as you have not done anything wrong on the contrary you tried to help the gentleman. So, let him lodge the FIR and do whatever he wants to do nothing will happen. It might be an armtwisting technique to get some money from you. Just relax and ignore it.

A.It is merely a pressure tactics to extract money. Refuse any such transaction. Let him file FIR. You cannot stop him filing FIR.
