Capacity to sue my college

My college has strict restrictions wrt applying for Campus placements. According to them, a person can only apply for one company at a time. The situation is like this:
In September, they asked us to apply for whatever companies that are coming to campus(even though they were not giving very good offers) and said there won't be better companies coming to the college in the future. Considering that I don't want to lose out on any opportunities I applied. But 2 months later, more companies with twice and thrice the better offers start pouring in, and I am unable to apply either of them because I already applied for one, because of which I missed out on many great offers and I'm afraid this will badly hamper my future career prospects.
I was denied the right to choose from possible career choices, and I want to know if I have sufficient grounds to litigate this issue.

But you have to approach HC for relief.
You may approach High Court against such college police.

If the policies of the college seem arbitrary then you can without any second thought approach the High Court under article 226 of the Constitution which enables it to hear writ petition. You can also organise for a student collective and file the petition together.

If other students of your college are also aggrieved by this then your cause will get even more support. You can file a writ petition before the HC under Art. 226 for a review of the college policies for being arbitrary.
