Writ Petition Writ Petition

Since six months in my writ petition, the case stage is "FOR ADMISSION -NOTICE SERVED" and the date of listing is increasing. How long will the matter be heard?

A.Hi,
There might be two reasons for such delay. First is the generic issue of delay in court process and second might be due to the imposition of nationwide lockdown. You can still try to classify your matter for urgent listing through the HC website or by informing the registrar.

A.Hi,
Due to the nationwide lockdown, the matters are probably getting shifted to a later date. You can request for putting up your matter for urgent listing by getting in touch with the Registrar.

A.The matter could have been heard but I guess the matter is not getting listed due to the COVID situation as only urgent matters are being taken up in all High Courts across the country.
