The pensioner who was retired in 2009 drew his pension until his death in August 2020. while applying for the family pension it was informed by the bank that there is a slight variation in his name as per PPO and as per other KYC docs. like PAN, Aadhar. However, the name of the Family pensioner is right spelt in all the document. the bank has not disbursed the family pension for the last 10 months what to do.

A.Hi,
An initial step would be to contact the branch manager and grieve about the problem that you are facing. Additionally you can also register a complaint at the ombudsman office regarding pension.

A.Hi,
You can register your complaint with the banking ombudsman of your jurisdiction and further contact your former employer about the provisions of family pension. If they are deferring differential treatment then you can file a suit against them before the high court under Art.226.
